I replaced my strombergs with a single Weber 32/36 DGEV downdraft and am very satisfied. I fiddled with the Strombergs for quite a while and never could get them right. The Weber is a bolt on if you use an earlier manifold (I think Series III, not sure) and I modified the existing linkage to work with the new carb. The linkage mods I made are less than perfect and I would appreciate any input from the group with regards to this subject.
