New cost in the US is around $150.

Three choke types were available, Water temp, electric and manual. Later ones where electric only, but I am sure any can be easily converted to manual.

You're talking about the most popular carburettor of all time here. If you go to the bone yard you will find many!

In the UK, 2000, and 2600 Ford Capri's used them. And pre 1979 2000 CC ford should have one.

Fiat twin cams (2000cc) Ford Pinto (2000/2300) "Has holly 5200 which is a licenced copy"

Also, the Weber DGAS as DFAV carbs are offered with non-progressive secondaries, and throttles go to 40mm. In Europe, these were used and many larger bore 4 and 6 cyl engines.
