Dear Friends,

There are several of us on this list that are doing or have done V6 conversions for the Alpine. The one that I'm working on uses a Ford 2.8 liter V6, Borg-Warner T-5 transmission, and a modified rear-end from Ford Mustang II. The man to contact about this conversion is a fellow from Seattle, WA, USA named Joe Rodriquez (joseph.a.rodriquez(at)boeing.com) . He is a great guy and he is always happy to discuss this conversion. He owns two of these cars, one with a 300hp turbo charged V6 and a 200 HP carburated version. Joe can provide you with technical help (Free) as well as motor mounts, transmission mounts, and headers. The other fellow who has lots of experience doing this is Bob Willis, (he shows up on the list from time to time and I think the e-mail is HERBEAM(at)aol.com (sorry if this is wrong!))

This is a fun and challenging project, but the results are worth the effort.
