Engine out the bottom

I know that one of the ways Tiger engines are removed is to unbolt the four
cross member bolts, unbolt the back of the transmission from the chassis,
and lift the body up, leaving the cross member, engine and transmission on
the ground to be rolled out. Is there any reason why this cannot be done
on the Alpine? Is there any reason why it should not be done? Since I am
contemplating swapping my entire front end, engine and trans into a
different body, this sure sounds like a good way to go.
Also, any idea of how heavy and hard it would be to roll all that from one
car to another? My driveway has a good slope to it, which might make it
all the more difficult.
