If you decide to go with a square syste, there is an outfit in Southern Cal called Specialized. They produce an oil cooler like you are looking for for Toyota Pickups. Now take a guess what oil filter fits on both the SV and my 92 Toyota PU. I believe Rick at SS has a convertor for Series II to SV oil filters. I would guess there is a good start at finding a reasonable unit for cooling your oil. Let me know if you need Phone numbers, etc.
