Not terribly surprized, I have been beneath quite a few Volvos recently "sorry no luck yet Jerome", and even the older style Volvos, which I had known to have the D type, are very rare. I have been beneath 20+ over the last couple of months, and have yet to see anything but an automatic. It would appear that ODs on Volvos are quite rare in the US.

Perhaps I need to crawl under a few newer cars too.

Crawl down there and let us know the model (on your volvo).

If its a J type, I think I could modify the adapter to accept the OD to the mainshaft.

If this is the case, we may have a whole new OD spares base, as Volvos are somewhat more plentifull than alpines.
