Thank You! Thanks for the many people who responded to the Question about thr "Pro's and Con's" of paint removal. There has been much talk =

about, Glass beading (cylindercial glass) , Walnut shells and Sandblastin= g. All of which, use high air pressure, 80 -100 PSI to remove paint, thus warping many different sheetmetal panels. NoT Good!

My real Question was about the new method of (not really new) removing paint by using the Plastic abrasive ( sharp and jagged in shape = ) which requires only!!! 14 to 30 pound of air pressure, to remove all paint, etc. This was developed to remove paint from Military AirCraft, instead of using chemicals, without warping any of the panels. For those interested!! You might want to check out these Web sights to check out the methods, hisory, tech. support, equipment required, and pictures of the plastic media its self.

The question still remains. Has anyone had their car stripped by this = method?? Thanks again! and check out those Web sites- Very interesting!! Tim Morin tigert(at)ktc.com Tim Morin P.O. Box 626 Fredericksburg, Tx. 78624 1-830-997-2337 hm. 1-830-997-4319- wk.
