I agree with Rex. If it will start easily, then it will not be too advanced (would make it almost imposible to start). It sounds like you have just done the tune up. Check your book and verify the firing order and the cable routing to the plugs. Also, (and was the case with my old Alpine), the compression could be way down. To run, it will need at least 90lbs of compression to start, and even then it may spin a while before it fires off. but low compression means low power but even then, Icould still do 50+mph.

It sounds like it is way to retarded, easy start, no power. Check the vacume advance tube, may have come out.
