I bought one from S.S. about 5 years ago, but it was not a lucas (made in japan).
Believe it or not, the lucas unit is far better than the new ones that are avail, particularly since the lucas ones have rotational cam adjustments for the three controlls.
Anyhow, the japanese unit needed adjusted (bending the relay tangs) to adjust both the cut in voltage, as well as the regulator voltage.
It worked OK till last week, when it started trying to regulate the voltage to 17v, and runs off the current limit all the time.
The regulator is the small unit, and it nearely square, It would have 5 labled conectors, A, A1, E, D and F
The other regulator (WB340 that I dont need) is a larger box, and has different markings.
Does anyone know the correct regulator for my car?
Does anyone id Southern Ca have a used one for sale?
