This has to qualify as one of the largest, and certainly = one of the most active, Rootes organizations (and I use that term loosley). = It is a good base and vehicle for reaching out to the not-yet-connected. A = few questions:

1. What would be our purpose (focus) as a club (50 words or less). i.e. "To promote and preserve the ________ marque, and to share the pleasure and challenges of owning, restoring, = maintaining, and driving these cars."

2. Who are we trying to serve (Alpines? Sunbeams? Rootes?). We need to figure this out. We started with Alpines, and are now at Rootes. I = think we need an Alpine club, even if its under the umbrella of a Rootes club.

3. What new services and products can we offer as a club? -newsletters (electronic & otherwise) -events, calendars, coordiantion. -Repro parts development, technical guides -Forums, conferences -Web pages, mailing lists, chat sessions, A "Ring" of linked web resources for Rootes. -Others?

4. How will be we be organized to deliver the services? -Governance, authorized spokespeople, decision makers -Dues -Membership & marketing -Logos
