Re-VB Windsheilds

While not a fan of VB in any way (I still have $400 of VB seals which
are quite frankly junk and were never used) there is another
explaination for why the screens don't fit. When I went to put my screen
in I had all sorts of trouble with the corners not fitting and I even
went as far as sourcing a new frame in case we had distorted this during
the repair process-same problem. It appears the problem is caused by the
after market screens being slightly thinner than the original and also
in my case I was trying to use a windsheild to frame seal that was
substandard. Apparently there was a bad batch of seals about 10 years
ago which gave an awful fit and I had one of these.With a new (SS) seal
the fit is much better-still not perfect but then only I would know.
