Jarrid:
According to my parts manual, the rounded-end expansion box with the
simple cap was used on series I and series II up to B9104562.
>From B9104563, the series II used the cast aluminum tank with the 7 lb
relief valve. The earlier model appears to have a smaller i.d. upper
hose connection on the radiator than on the box, but the inner diameter
of both appears to be the same on the later model. (The manual doesn't
specify hose i.d.)
Hope this helps!
