Chuck,

I don't blame you for sweating the air filters. I understand those really
stringent concours judges weigh your filters and compare them to a new
filter weight to see how much dirt you have. They can gig you serious
points.

To avoid this, try Vicky Britt for stock-looking air filters for your
zenith-strombergs. They list at about $12 + ea. Maybe there will be a
vendor at the ABFM who sells these beasts. Got to get off now and wash the
K&N filter element on my Weber. See you tomorrow.
