Yes, it should. It's vinyl with a jute backing. Readily available
from SS as repro.

Yes, there is an ashtray, different from the Tiger, not part of the
console. I have an extra if your're interested.

Rubber. Rubber only.

I can only speak for my car: it had a leather covered knob with a
Rootes lion that said "Sunbeam Alpine" around the outside edge. It is
my understanding that wood ones were also available (that's the repro I
now have). You can get either wood or leather from SS. The original
stock knob may have been black plastic with the shift pattern on top.
But I'm not certain of that.
