British Car Festival at Oakton Comm College

The British Car Festival was held yesterday at Oakton Community College in
Des Plaines, near Chicago. There were 842 cars registered. Nineteen
Sunbeams were there, including nine Alpines and ten Tigers.

All of the Sunbeams were presentable, and a number were beautiful.

There were three awards each for Alpines and Tigers, based on popular vote.
Everyone who was showing a car got one ballot.

It was a fine show for all the British cars, and I think it probably
qualifies as the largest in the U.S. Does anyone know of a larger show?
