I went to my first meeting of the Rockford (IL) Area British Boots and Bonnets
Club yesterday. It was fun. We had a picnic (The Fall Tunedown) and did a
little autocross, which I've never done before, since I bought my Alpine in
July. There are 70 members and about 35 or so brought their cars. A bunch of
TR6s, some MGBs and 4 MGTDs. There was only one Alpine: mine. Am I the only
Alpine owner in this, the 2nd Largest City in Illinois? Sigh.
