Don't do this. All you need is a compression fitting. Use nylon
sealing rings, they work best. Just purchase a 3/16" T-shaped
compression fitting. All you do is place the fitting nuts over the
tubes coming out of the carbs, then position the fitting in between
with the sealing rings in place and tighten down the nuts. This will
give you a good seal without having to modify your carbs or needing to
use hose/clamps. I saw this on someones Alpine at the San Diego All
British show and it looked and worked great.
