This just reminded me that I was going to post an update to the Toyota
gearbox conversion being engineered here in Australia. From the last
club newsletter it seems that there were some problems with clearance
around the bellhousing. A new bellhousing has been made and is being
trial fitted in a Rapier floor pan as a first check. If this is OK the
project moves on to the clutch plate and getting together all the
fitting hardware so a complete conversion kit can be offered.
I will keep the list posted as progress occurs and my short-term memory
problems allow.
