I am posting this to the list on behalf of the owner of a Series III that is
for sale. The usual disclaimers apply. I looked at it yesterday.
Apparently all the paint was removed by the prior owner who did not prime it
so the body has surface rust. I also found some rust in the passenger side
rocker and the right rear wheel arch. I did not check the other side. The
parts are in boxes, [eg window hardware removed, dash with all gauges out of
car and in a box etc.]. No engine or gearbox.
The car is in North Bend, Washington State [20 miles from Seattle]. The
owner does not have a price in mind so he is interested in offers.
