The club mentioned was the Sunbeam Alpine Owners Club (SAOC), based in
England, catering mostly to Series Alpines, but also to the occasional
Venezia. The Venezia was built by SuperLeggera (sp?) of Italy, which also
designed the relocated gas tanks, and smaller fins, which were adopted on
Series III and IV respectively.

SuperLeggera was also one of a number of foreign assembers of CKD (Complete
Knock-Down) Alpines. Does anyone know of any CKD Alpines that made it into
the States? Even the SAOC's publication, "The Horn", with its world-wide
membership, never mentions any current owners.
