Jim,
As you can see no one around here has an opinion:-)! I checked out rotary
quite seriously and decided on the great SOUND and REPLACEMENT PARTS
availability and INITIAL TORQUE off the line of the V-6 to name just a few
things. I'm in the process and it sounds like (unlike me who forgot to take
the brain box off the Capri) you've got what you need. I'll be harvesting
this weekend for a T5 transmission and Mustang bell housing & rear end
(unless someone has a Tiger rear end for me???).
I've decided to store my original engine, exhaust, etc. just in case some
day I want to restore the car back to original. You may want to think about
that since even the 'pines now are becoming more rare.

                Git rid of everthing including the engine, tranny and
differential. Switch to
                a rotory engine, less weight, smaller, great hop up parts
(more power!!!) etc
