Jetting 32/36 DGV carburetor

Steve,

Yes, I'm looking into this. I put a new Weber 32/36 DGV on my car this
year, and I now have a 'stumble' as I accelerate from a stop. I can
minimize the stumble by accelerating VERY slowly. I've been reading
books about carburetors and tuning. If I understand the information
correctly, I have a 'progression circuit' problem, and need larger idle
jets.

Also, there was an excellent article about tuning the DGV for the Datsun
510 L-series motor. Someone on the list (Rex?) mentioned the article,
but there was no resulting discussion. I read the article and thought it
was great. Basically, this article suggests that the DGV in standard
form is rich in its main circuit, and that the 510 motor would benefit
from smaller mains and/or larger air jets. It also gives a suggestion
for changing the emulsion tubes.

Since my car is now stored for the winter, I will get to this in the
spring. Which gives me plenty of time to put together a tuning strategy.
Anyone out there that has modified the jets on their 32/36 DGV (or DGAV)
willing to share their experience?

Thanks,

Brad
