Dont be too worried about braking those bolts. If you are really concerned, get a torch
on them and heat them. They'll come off dont worry. Get a torque wrench on it with
plenty of
leverage, if they dont budge with 100 lb/ft applied use the torch to heat "not cut" the
heads..
As for the flat head screw, it holds no significant function, but possibly acts as an
index
for the drum to the axle for balance purposes. Of cource the screw must be removed
to get the drum off too.
