The feeler gauge Jay describes has 2 blades...a .014 and a .016 which are
the valve clearances for the Sunbeam. The gentleman I purchased the III GT
OD from said it came with the car ; However his wife had a 1960
MGA...Perhaps...it was for the MG? Does anybody know the valve clearances
for the MGA? The blades were well used and he said he used it to adjust
the valves on the Sunbeam .014 for intakes and .016 for exaust. Unless
somebody can definitely say it is for the MG than I would say include it as
an original Sunbeam accessory..
PS: If anybody wants a picture of the tool kit spread out I will be happy to
forward it to anyone in the group... HERBEAM sends (Bob
Willis)
