There are two things here you have mentioned. First there is the LUCAS
distributor tool. It is in the shape of a key and has a feeler guage
rivited on to it. I believe the point of the key is a screwdriver blade
for twisting and adjusting the point gap in the distributor. Then there is
a separate tool in the shape of a rectangle with two or three gap blades on
it. (Bob has written that it has two blades, but his picture shows three.
Is the third simply a thicker metal piece of the same size as the blades to
protect the blades when they are pressed together?). The blades slide
together and into a rectangular holder made of steel.

As an aside, I do not understand the distributor tool completely. Next to
"LUCAS" it has two gap sizes stamped. Yet the key I have received only has
one feeler guage on it. Was there one on the back at one time?
