Does anyone know anything about a Piper MG TD?
There was a guy who lived near us in our last house. He had a TD kit. He
was kind of strange and I only got one conversation out of him. But, he
told me his car was built by Piper, the airplane company. Only a dozen or
so were built, all with Porsche running gear. He seemed to think they are
worth something. I never saw the car up close.
There is an MG TD kit for sale near me that sound a bit like it might be a
Piper. It is for sale for less than the Porsche engine is worth, even if
not running.
