Drove by today, saw the Alpine gone..
It was a SV. Unless someone took any old 1725 badges and put it on the trunks
and fenders. Now some things to look for... There should be a SAL number on the
top plate firewall in front of the passenger seat. mine is SAL 601782. If these
are sequenced also that will put it into perspective. If not, then someone
wanted to hide this baby bad... I have a 66 Alpine SV. I don't know where else
there might be a SAL number.
As far as your motor serial ID.... motor taken from some other rootes mobile.
