Jay,
The exact cross reference for the AG603 is an Autolite 2414. The 2414 plug
is still available and is used on a lot of 2 stroke applications. If the
AG603 works good for your car you might try the 2414 since we can no longer
get any of the AG603's.

Jay,
I briefly spoke to an friend who is involved in racing support for Autolite
and Fram. He indicated that this is a very old plug and if it worked or not
he could not tell by the application. The information he has found on it
came from someone's memory who has been with the company for years and is
near retirement. It is advised to not use them unless more information can
be found. I will let you know if I find out anything else.

Boy, talking about going to the source. I typed in "autolite.com" and
ended up at "Allied Signal". I wasn't sure if Ron was joking or not. That
being said, do you have any information on these particular plugs? They
are unused. Is it worth trying them on the Alpine? Is there any benefit
to this retracted design? Is it no longer offered because they are not as
good, or because they are too expensive?
I assume that their heat range will only make sense for a full throttle
operation and not your day to day driving.

"Retracted Gap" Design
Old type Indy 500 plugs before our current days. Ford part number, but
Autolite name. Pre-Bendix/Allied/Signal.....etc....
AJ Foyt ~1972 winner plug.
Hopefully, you don't have any needs for these! Because we don't make
those anymore.....

I came across a set of 4 Autolite spark plugs. They are in these neat
plastic tubes with orange plastic caps and metal bottoms. The plugs
themselves are marked "Autolite AG603 RACING". Anyone have any idea
what
these might be? They were actually sitting in the bottom of a long
ignored
Alpine that appeared to have seen some racing days and modifications.
The tip is very unusual too. Rather than the center point that is
surrounded in white ceramic sticking out, it stays inside of the hole by
about 1/8". There is no little arm that loops up and over the tip, but
a
little metal pin that was pressed in through the threads and points
straight at the side of the metal tip. I can't see any way to adjust
the
gap - unless there is some way to push that pin in and out. I have
drawn
as ASCI picture below. I have no idea if it helps.
I'm going to go see if I can find an Autolite web site.
