Chris,
If the repairs are complete, the car passes the "magnet test", the floor
boards
are trully rust free, and the car is more or less straight, the car should
be worth
the amount specified.
For $5000, the car should definately be complete, drivable with most of the
trim pieces present. It need not be restored, but restoration path shoulb
be
obvious with definate light at the end of the tunnel.
Expect to throw another 3K into it to bring it the rest of the way.
If the car isnt truly rust free, of if the repair a botched then the car
is not worth the $$$$$.
I wouldnt hinge the deal on the OD. It could cost more $$$$ to fix it,
then to buy one locally that will surely work when installed.
Be sure to perform the magnet test.
