Ford/Alpine rear end

Hi all-

Can some one confirm that the wheel bolt pattern on the early alpine
rear ends is the same as a Ford 8" rear end?

I think I have found the answer to my rear axle problem. British wire
wheel sells a bolt on version on the Alpine hub, which hopefully bolts
onto the Ford rear once it has been cut down. This allows me to get the
gear ratio for the V-6, I need and still carry the wire wheels.

Which means my original (new from BWW) Alpine hubs and rear axle with
rebuilt Armstrong shocks may be for sale.

By the way if anyone wanted to replace their steel wheels with wires and
has balked at the price, the bolt on hubs from BWW are far less
expensive than the axle mounted hubs.
