It's out. No sweat. Thanks all. I seem to recall as a kid having no
trouble taking things apart. It's putting them back together that was the
hard part:-). In this case, it will be a different one going back in
(probably by someone else). This is cool...

                For the second time in my life I am removing an engine. The
first was the Capri motor. This one is the Hillman Minx motor that's in my
SV (a lot easier).
                I am removing it with gearbox connected. Gearbox and motor
are all loose. Everything looks fine except the rusted together exhaust
pipes. I have done the hammer thing, and am currently letting the "Wrench
It" soak in. Don't have a way to heat it, but I don't think I will need to.

                Question: After I get the pipes loose, will I be able to
simply push everything forward so as to free the back of the tranny from the
driveshaft and drop it using the floor jack, or is there something to
disconnect there?
