How were they broken? Mine never worked because the PO had disconnected
it, and before I put everything back I'd like to know whether I need to
make allowances for a replacement switch. I have mine, and a spare to
work with so maybe I have enough to make one whole from two halves. Maybe
I should wire in a spare anyway...
BTW, if anyone is taking their harness apart or doing any other work on
it I am making an in-situ (laid out like in the car) schematic diagram
that might be really handy for you, and I could use some sanity-checkers.

But if you cut off all the bad stuff, removed the mechanicals and added a couple grates, the front would make a swell barbecue pit. With a cover!
