Ok, with help from all over, I've got the electric tach, the mysterious
plastic connector (mpc) with the looped wire. Now I believe there is one
part missing, is there metal U-shaped connector that goes over the MPC that
connects the two tabs on the back of the tach? The tach is out of a series V
and going into a series III. If anyone out there has there tach out could
they look to see if the metal U-shaped thing is there and how or if it
connects to the tabs.
I also remember someone talking about increasing the wire size or putting
another loop in the wire to help stablize the tack pointer. I haven't been
able to find it on the web. Summers coming and I haven't done anything yet.
