This is the first time you ever installed a head? Did you follow the
torque sequence when bolting it on? Did you re-torque the head after
you started it and warmed it up? It's important to do that.
I had a GT6 that kept blowing head gaskets. The problem only went away
when I had the block decked. I don't mean that you must have the same
problem, but you might. A really good straight edge longer than the
block will help you check it. Or have a mechanic check it for you.
