Pretty straight forward. Only five nuts. If there are rubber wedges
under the windshield frame, mark their location and keep them for
future reference or replacement.

The only concern I would have would be that the holes may be worn and
too big to handle the sheet metal screws on the current studs or
replacements. I had this problem and had to use a rivet type thread
insert to put in a new stud with machine screw threads. Don't worry
about matching up the snaps, any replacement tonneau will come without
snaps mounted. You mount them (or your upholstery shop) to fit the
studs. I personally do not know of a tonneau that come precut to fit a
roll bar. You'll probably have to have an upholstery shop do that.

This is what I did. Welded them closed with the intent on mounting
Lucas style mirrors (don't buy the ones from VB, they're cheap. Try
Moss Motors, theirs are porbably better). I'm having second thoughts
now, since the cars did not come from the factory with mirrors, but
were usually added by dealers. Still undecided. Regardless, I'd fill
the holes.
