Tach-Speedo or Speedo-Tach?

I was working over my tach and speedo and noticed they *both* have
ignition and indicator lamps, as marked on the face. No Main Beam label
on either. The speedo from my PartsCar, has a Main Beam lamp. Both have
the same Smiths part number, though are re-branded as Jaegers. So I
looked in a Motor Trader article I have with a labelled diagram of a RHD
dash, and it shows speedo on the left, tach on the right, which puts the
turn indicators on the outside of the gauge-mounted indicators. My
gauges were installed in the mirrored order, putting the indicators on
the inside of the foursome.

Which way is your tach/speedo mounted? Were these gauges swapped around
for the LHD market?

Where might my original speedo I have come from?
