Just got back from my evening cruise and had a scary moment. As I was
leaving my house, I was racing around a little and then noticed that the
oil pressure gauge was reading '0'. I quickly turned around and drove
home. I was only one block from home so it wasn't too far. Popped the
hood and check the oil, it was 1 quart low. I put more oil in and
started the car, 40-50 psi came right back up. Let it run for a while
and no problems. Why would being only one quart low cause a loss of oil
pressure?
