Hi listers...
Here's the background:
I would like to replace the 13" stock wire wheels on my S-3 with 14" chrome
wire wheels. I tried a Dunlap 14x5.5 wheel with a 185-70/14 tire. It fit
well and looked good on the car. That wheel application is specific to an
MGB/GT and a Triumph Stag. Dayton also makes a 14" wire wheel for the Stag
but it's 6" wide. I'm told the Dayton wheel is a better quality wheel than
the Dunlap for about the same price.
Here are the questions:
1) Can anyone comment on the quality of Dunlaps and Daytons?
2) Does anyone known the off-set for stock wire wheels vs. Dunlaps or Daytons?
3) Will a 14x6 wire wheel fit in the wheel well without fender-lip surgery?
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks...
Rich
