STOP! The hubs are not the same size. The angles at the rear where the
wheel mates to the hub do not match correctly. It is also possible, but
I'm not sure, that the hub length is not the same so that you won't have
enough thread. I've heard that people have run their cars with MGB wires.
I don't know how long it lasted. You may want to call British Wire Wheel
in Santa Cruz or Valley Wire Wheel in North Hollywood to see their
thoughts. It was the previous owner of Valley Wire Wheel that told me
about the problems.

As to Dunlaps vs. Daytons, the quality is about the same for these cars. I
have heard that the later Dunlaps that do fit our Alpines, which were built
for the Midget in the years after the Alpine disappeared, are supposed to
be stronger than the original ones.
