Re: heater valve anyone?

Jerome,

I'm in the middle of restoring my S1 heater valve and the thing that was
wrong with mine was the aluminum plug that closes it up at the bottom was
rotted away. I machined up a new on and I'm ready to put it back together.
The thing I'm waiting for is I would like to zinc plate all the external
steel parts first because most of the plating is worn off. The plater wants
$75 minimum charge per batch for plating and the few parts on the heater
valve sure don't make a batch.

I have a picture of the heater valve all apart and laid out. If you would
like a copy of it I'd be glad to email it to you.
