The pushrods typically will develop a nipple on the ball end.
This can be wiped clean with a carefull pass at a grinder.
If the pushrods are true, and dont have loose ends or rattle
when struck, I'd reuse them.
On the rocker fingers, the area where they touch the valve stems,
tends to become worn in a groove.
If the groove is not deep, and pitted, the fingers can be re-ground
and machine shops that are fixtured for it. If you are carefull,
you could re-profile them yourseld with a right angle disc sander.
If you cut too deep, it would be a good idea to have the finger "tips"
heat treated. Someone "Tom W?" suggested caseinite.

The Miata uses a Torsen limited slip diff.
You couldnt find a better diff, but the angles of the gears, are
matched to the amount needed for the RW torque and weight of the
Miata.
