Nearing the end

Well, my car could be running in just a matter of days!!!! Thank God,
after ten long years!!!!

Today I went to Smitty's and assembled my beautiful and meticulously
polished (I'll never do that again!) CD150's. Picked up some other
small parts I need.

I must still clear up my only remaining electrical problem, to replace
the green wire that extends from the wiper motor to the stop light
switch (the source of the horn problem). My wiper motor is still at
the shop. I'm waiting to find out what's wrong with it. Must replace
the stop light switch.

Have a brake fluid leak at the left rear cylinder. I will replace both
rears with new cylinders.

Must replace the dust boots for the lower ball joints. Still have not
tightened up bolts on suspension or installed shocks. Must install
sway bar. Must buy tires and mount on new wheels. Alignment.

Must complete stainless exhaust from header rearward.

I figure I'll be driving the car by the end of April, maybe the first 2
weeks of May. Hopefully in time for Smitty's May Diversion.

I'm really starting to get anxious and excited. It's a great feeling.
I just hope those British gremlins don't ruin my fun.

Christopher
