Hi folks, just subscribed a week ago. I recently purchased a '66 series
V Alpine. Should be arriving via flatbed this afternoon.
PO was a good friend of mine who did a frame off restore about 10 years
ago. He drove it for one summer, then garaged it. Hasn't seen the light
of day since! I have restored a couple of Triumphs, both Spitfires. I'm
sure you'll be hearing from me soon, as I plan to get the Alpine
roadworthy ASAP. I already know that the Brake M.C. is bone dry, not a
good sign. The clutch pedal is frozen solid and she's been sitting on 4
flat tires for who knows how long. But, the frame and body are rust
free.
Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated!
