Many people beleive that there is too much oil being put onto
the rubbing block, and consequently into the timing cover, which
increases seepage out the front.
DPO must have thought that too.

The bent tube that is supposed to spray oil on my timing chain is
crimped closed upstream of the holes that the oil is supposed to squirt
through. Why would anyone do that, and do I want to keep it that way?
