I have a 1967 series 5 alpine. I have spent a small fortune on this car.
I had it stripped last year and now she is ready for paint. This car is
as close to new as you can get. SHE IS MAGNIFICENT! My sister bought me
my first alpine fourteen years ago. That car was more fun... But here is
the situation. My younger brother married his wife 8? years ago. She was
diagnosed with cancer last thanksgiving. So they are both out of work
because she is ill and he needs to care for the three kids and his wife.
I am finding it hard to sleep at night, knowing that they are HARD UP
and I am about to have this car painted.So I would like to know if
someone out there would like to make me an offer for this "DREAM" that I
have almost completed.
Don't ask me to give it away. I just think that the money might be
better in the bank than in the car. I can't beleive that I am doing
this.
And I have to honestly say that if it were not because he is my brother
I would one day pass this car on to my son. If you want details get back
to me. hard and soft top. and beautiful. I am going to advertise this
car everywhere. I will never recover my costs because I had everything
done professionally. But it is family.
