You're asking for nothing but trouble if you do this. I would suggest
if that you can safely modify an oversize wheel, you might be ok. But
if you have to modify the car by cutting away anything but body panels,
then I think you're flirting with disaster.

The less there is to hold that wheel onto the car, the more potential
there is for failure.
I think you should go with a wheel that does not interfere with your
suspension components.
