That is the system in Finland, too. But no log book, and the time is 30
days (no kind of control, but if the summer is worth of more than 30
driving days and you want to be honest, you can volunteer to pay twice and
get 60 days to drive. This is not told anywhere, but it is leagal).
        "Historic" is at least 25 years old and in "a condition typical to
the era". There is a control which is in the hands of clubs such as Sports
Car Club of Helsinki and Veteran Motorcycle club.
        It means I can have twin webers and a Moto-Lita steeing wheel in my
Alpine, but not in a Mercedes or in a VW. Brit sportsers were usually
customized with tunning parts, family cars not (unless you can show this
very vechicle was customized at it's younghood).

a street going hipo Alpine (in a prize normal in US) would be a thrilling
exotics here in Europe, wouldn't it?
