When Smitty & I set up my CD150's on the bench the jets were backed off
1.5 turns from flush with damper piston. Smitty said that's what the
book calls for. I didn't double check it. The jets can be adjusted
further, after startup, by using those little buttons on the side of
the carb body that raise the damper piston about .25". If the idle
starts to stall or run rough when you do this then the mixture is to
lean, if it speeds up, then it is too rich. Check the shop manual, the
procedure is in there.
