After looking at the manual, I see what you mean. Doesn't seem too
hard...are there any "gotcha's" to watch out for? Can this be don while on
the car?

Hi Sergio,

     To my knowledge, the only way to adjust for play is to reduce the
thickness of the shim pack between the steering box cover and box. Four
bolts and you're in. After removing all my shims I still had play so I
replaced the box and am now free of play. I put 90W gear oil in it. A
far cry better than no oil, which is what the previous owner ran in it.
