I'm considering machining down (just trimming, not entirely) the shoulder on
the front hubs rather than machining the wheels. I don't want to chance
damaging the finish of the wheels and this would allow rotation (axle to
axle...) of all 5 wheels without the added cost of machining all five. The
hubs are off the car anyway so no additional disassembly required. Rick at
SS says do not use a spacer up front - fender clearance will definitely be a
problem.
